Stateline Native To Host ESPN’s ‘Sportscenter’

Roscoe native and Hononegah High School grad Nicole Briscoe (Manske) is staying with ESPN, but it won't be with "NASCAR Countdown."

News broke today Briscoe has signed a new contract with ESPN to stay on with the world wide leader in sports.

She will leave "NASCAR Countdown" at the end of the year and move behind the desk as a "Sportscenter" host. Briscoe will also take on new assignments with the company.

Briscoe tells The Wrap, "ESPN is where I want to be, and I'm excited about starting the next chapter of my career as well as a new adventure for my family."

Briscoe formerly Nicole Manske from Rockton, is a Miss Illinois Teen USA winner in 1998 and classmate of NASCAR superstar, Danica Patrick.
