Steve Shannon’s ‘Perfect Playlist’-Not Cliche Baseball Songs

The 2017 baseball season has begun. I asked the author of a Chicago Cubs book to join me to put a playlist together of songs that make us think about baseball.

The title says 'not cliche' songs about baseball and that's 80% true. We didn't' want to put the same old playlist together with songs we all know are about baseball but 2 songs are very 'baseball', but only 2. These songs, for one reason or another, make us think about America's favorite pastime.

My guest in this week's video is author Rob Carroll, who along with his friend Dan, wrote a book (actually it's their second book) about their favorite baseball team... The Chicago Cubs.
