‘Stranger Things’ Star Keeps Wedding Promise to Illinois Couple

David Harbour, star of Netflix's "Stranger Things," spent last weekend in Springfield making good on a Twitter promise.

The whole thing started when a fan named Erika Millholland made the challenge in January, asking the star how many retweets it would take for him to officiate her wedding.

Here's David's response:

125,000 retweets, plus the date has to work with his shooting schedule on season 3 of "Stranger Things." Oh, and the love letter plus first piece of cake part.

Would he budge on the "first piece of cake" part? Nope.

So, how long did it take to get the 125,000 retweets? Not long at all.

And, like the man-of-his-word that he is, David Harbour headed for Springfield last weekend.

Pretty understandable why his fans are crazy about him.
