Meet Little Debbie, this weeks Pet of the Week from Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary.

Little Debbie came to the Ark so scared; she would barely make eye contact with any of the staff members and when I first met her last week she just sat in her dog bed in the corner of her kennell and shook. Poor thing. We already know that dogs are smart, loyal, companions who are capable of social interactions with their humans but something we don't often think about is how their feeling when they're left behind. People who abandon their pets might not even think their dog knows what's happening at that very moment, but they do.

Heartbreaking, isn't it? Thanks to social media, Dessie got her happy ending.
