Crumbl Cookies' Grand Opening in Rockford

One of the fastest-growing food chains in America, Utah-based Crumbl Cookies, will be opening a new location in Rockford, Illinois. One more fabulous cookie shop in the 815. Who needs a favorite, when we can have them all?

Just a few weeks ago, Dirty Dough Cookies opened a location on E. State St.

Those are just a few of the places I can think of off the top of my head in the 815 that are baking amazing cookies daily.

When Crumbl first made their announcement that they were expanding into Rockford, not everyone was excited.

My teenage daughter was the first to introduce our family to Crumbl in May 2021. She had been at Woodfield Mall with friends and stopped to get cookies on their way home. There wasn't much left to sample from her pink box of cookies, but we didn't need much to know we had to have more.

I sampled an OG chocolate chip (required), the classic pink vanilla sugar cookie with real almond frosting, and quite possibly the best lemon cookie ever. It's called the lemonade cookie.

I'm not mad that I'll have that lemonade cookie a little more often.

There are so many great places around the Rockford area to get cookies, we're pretty lucky to get another choice, like Crumbl.
