Are you looking for something fun and different to do with your sweetie this Valentine's Day? Are the kids driving you crazy being cooped up in the house all winter long?

The Field Museum in Chicago is here to save the day. According to CBS Chicago, they're offering free admission to Illinois residents all month long.

From now through the 28th, with valid proof of Illinois residency, you can visit the museum during normal business hours, 9 am to 5 pm.

Here are some things you should be aware of:

  • Ticketed exhibitions and 3D shows are not included.
  • You can purchase a discovery pass which gives you access to one ticketed exhibit or one 3D movie.
  • Discovery passes are $14 for adults, $10 for kids between 3-11 and $12 for seniors.
  • Get access to all ticketed exhibitions and one 3D movie with an all-access pass.
  • All-access passes are $21 for adults, $15 for kids and $18 for students and seniors.
