2020 was the year some parents added "teacher" to their resume.

This is a school year like no other. So many parents are stepping into roles they never thought they'd ever have. It's new, it's stressful, it's a lot. But parents - you're doing amazing. Our new Teacher of The Week is a superstar mom who took on the role of helping out with school for her 5 kids.

Congratulations to Kathryn Barrett in Rockford. She was nominated by her husband and the nomination letter reads -

Kathryn and I have 5 children, 4 of which are in school. Somehow, she is able to assist the teachers in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade. With making zoom classes on time, helping with homework, maintaining 3 meals a day, and doing so with a 3-year-old constantly following her around. She does this 5 days a week only to work 16-32 hours on sat and sun. Then back at it on Monday. I’m nominating her because I’ve never seen someone dedicate and sacrifice so much and ask for nothing in return. I’m truly grateful to have her as my wife.

How sweet is that letter? Not to mention, how INCREDIBLE is all that work Kathryn is doing? We got to drop off a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a beautiful floral arrangement from Broadway Florist to help celebrate Kathryn and all she does for her family.

Kathryn sent us some pictures of her, her kids, her husband, and some of their at-home school fun.

Congrats again Kathryn! You're a superstar mom and you're killing the at-home school game.
