Teacher of the Week: Mr. Volkert from St. Paul Lutheran School
Congrats to 97ZOK’s new Teacher of the Week, Mr. Volkert from St. Paul Lutheran School.
Mr. Volkert scored delicious cupcakes from Sugar Jones and beautiful flowers from Broadway Florist.
The winning nomination came from Katherine Taylor. Katherine tells 97ZOK:
Bruce Volkert plays many roles in this school. He directs an outstanding band program, has assisted with coaching, and teaches many grades for various subjects. And did I forget to mention that he does all of this and is the principal! He is dedicated to his students and really cares about this school. I believe he is the reason for how far it has come in the last couple of years. I think he deserves to be recognized for his dedication and teaching for many years!"
