Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Breit from Riverview Elementary School

Congratulations to our newest Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Breit from Riverview Elementary School.

Mrs. Breit was gifted with beautiful flowers from Broadway Florist and delicious cupcakes from Sugar Jones.

The winning nomination came from Amber Laue. Amber writes:

To say my family has had a rough start to the school year is an understatement. In September my daughter has experienced death for the first time, not once, not twice, but three times. Although she was only close to one of the relatives, it has affected her.

In addition to that she injured her foot and is currently hopping along on one foot. Throughout all of this, Mrs. Breit has been extremely accommodating, nurturing and wonderful. She has communicated with me in terms of how my child has been doing emotionally and has gone above and beyond the call of Duty when Natalie's mind was elsewhere.

Tonight when I emailed her that Natalie would need to miss school to keep her foot elevated tomorrow Mrs. Breit immediately emailed me back and said to send her with a pillow she would have her prop it up at school and asked what else she could do to help.

We are beyond grateful for Mrs. Breit's patience and understanding this month. I can't think of a more deserving teacher to be 97ZOK’s Teacher of The Week!"
