Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Lee from St. James Catholic School

Congrats to 97ZOK’s new Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Lee from St. James Catholic School.

Mrs. Lee scored delicious cupcakes from Sugar Jones and beautiful flowers from Broadway Florist.

The winning nomination came from Kelly Kolodzik. Kelly tells 97ZOK:

Mrs. Lee is the most nurturing, positive, and thoughtful teacher. She loves her 2nd graders like they are her own. Every year she takes time out of her personal time, to prepare the 2nd graders for their 1st Communion. She comes in on Saturdays and Sundays for this preparation. She even took the time this past Sunday to wish all of the mothers of her students A Happy Mother's Day. She has 2 small children of her own and is very busy! I could not believe she wrote us such an amazing note of praise for what we do for our children, her students, on Mother's Day. My son had her 2 years ago and my daughter has her this year. They describe her as "The most fun, nice, and prettiest teacher ever."
I am truly sad for the school year to end, due to not having any additional children to have the pleasure of 2nd grade with Mrs. Carrie Lee. She deserves teacher of the week for so many reasons. But mainly for the security that I feel (and all of the families) at St. James feel each and every day knowing my kids are (and have been) in her care."
