Congratulations to our latest Teacher of the Week, Ms. Radostits from Oregon High School.

Ms. Radostits scored delicious cupcakes from Sugar Jones and beautiful flowers from Broadway Florist.

The winning submission came from a student of Ms. Radostits, Kelsey Handschuh.
Kelsey writes:

Ms. Rad has always been so kind to every student she has every come into contact with. Aside from being so kind, she also has been a huge part in an experimental program this year called the Open Program. She helped design this program so that kids, like myself, could learn independence, creative problem solving, cross-curricular knowledge, and collaboration to be able to apply in life. This was an incredibly innovative idea and has changed all the students who are in the program's view on learning. Our view has changed from the "I have to go" into "I want to go". She also is one of the Spanish teachers at Oregon who, whether you are in her class or not, will sit down with you during her free time and make sure you understand the foreign concepts. Ms. Rad is the teacher who will put her life on hold for her students' education. This includes nights that she will stay with the Open Program students until 9:00 so that they can work on their class projects. Ms. Rad definitely deserves to be the Teacher of the Week. This week and every week."
