Rockford Teacher Blessing the World with Weekly Kindness Challenge
97ZOK's Teacher of the Week is being recognized for how she challenges her students in the classroom and the special way she does it outside of school.
97ZOK Teacher of the Week
Congratulations to Sarah Fey from Holy Family Catholic School in Rockford
Kari Wood nominated Sarah, she writes,
Mrs. Fey makes learning fun for her students. My child missed Candy Cane Day right before Christmas break, she went out of her way to make a take-home bag for him so he could enjoy doing all the activities he had missed. She does a wonderful job communicating with the parents. Mrs. Fey sets high expectations for her students to succeed and praises them when they make great choices. She gives the students a weekly challenge to do outside of school to help mold them into great human beings. Some examples: Give someone a compliment, invite a new friend to play, help your parents at home, and give to the less fortunate. She truly is an asset to our school and we are very lucky to have her as our teacher. She gives 100% every day and it shows.
You can listen to my very enjoyable conversation with Sarah, below. Her weekly kindness challenges are just what we need more of in this world.
