‘The Chalet’ on Netflix Review: Netflix & Chilled…Wine

This week on Netflix & Chilled...Wine, I review the French series, The Chalet.  Yes, it's in subtitles, but it's totally worth it.  Netflix is starting to catch on to my viewing habits and I've been pleasantly surprised with every foreign series they've recommended.

This particular show is about a group of friends who meet up for a reunion in a secluded chalet in a tiny village in the French Alps. It doesn't take long for them to realize that they're in serious danger as a dark secret from their past slowly comes to light.

Here were my thoughts after the first episode.

Since I recorded my first review, I did exactly what I said I'd do in the video- finished the series in a day.

It's only 6 episodes and it'll be worth your time on a rainy day. It was thrilling and intriguing the entire ride, it kept me on the edge of my seat and it constantly kept me guessing what would happen next until the shocking twist at the end. I give it 4 glasses.
