The City of Loves Park has a New Mayoral Candidate

Come July 3rd another name will be added the Loves Park race for Mayor. He's already served as an alderman for over 25 years.

2nd Ward Alderman John Pruitt will officially announce his candidacy for Loves Park Mayor on Sunday, July 3. According to wrex.com, as alderman, John has served more than 20 years on the finance committee and as chairman of Community Development.

Until John officially announces his campaign, it's hard to know exactly what projects he's likely to push. Current Loves Park Mayor Daryl Lindberg is planning to run in the next election as well.
