The Cubs Have A New Postseason Hype Song And It’s Kind Of Scary

We're not sure if this new song would work best for the Cubs or a trailer for a new horror flick.

The song from Katie Day, who according to WGN, describes her songs "like ‘club ballads,’ a little different than the cheesy ones guys make in their basements."

While you have to agree the songs aren't cheesy ones made in some guy's basement, it leaves something to be desired.

Don't get it twisted, we all love the Cubs, but a hype song or whatever you want to call it needs to come about much more organically.

If you force it on the fans, they're going to hate it. We're not saying we hate it, we just want something else.

So pretty please, with sugar on top, give us something else.
