The Kids News Conference Was The Best Thing About The Cubs Convention

The Chicago Cubs Convention was this past weekend and the best part was when kids got the chance to ask their favorite player questions.

The question and answer panel featured Kyle Schwarber, Albert Almora Jr., Javy Baez, Willson Contreras and Clark the Cub.

What's so funny and cute about the video is that these are the types of questions that fans like to know too, but can't ask because, we're adults.

So kids getting a chance to ask the type of question that reveals the players personality opposed to constant baseball banter is a welcome change.

The standout question of the news conference was directed to Kyle Schwarber. A young fan asked him if he was planning on playing this year or just going to play in the World Series. Schwarber's response? He mouthed "mic drop."
