There Are Over 400 Fireworks Displays in Illinois This Year

Fourth of July is just around the corner, where will you be watching fireworks?

Fireworks are fun any time of year, but they are essential to a Fourth of July celebration. This year, the fourth falls on a Monday, which means we'll pretty much be given fireworks opportunities the entire weekend prior and on the actual holiday.

Regardless of where you'll be in Illinois, you can find some fireworks shows. According to FireworksInIllinois.com, there are over 400 different fireworks displays to check out this year.

Their list is not limited to the Fourth of July, but of course includes the holiday, with almost 100 different displays in the state on July 4.

The closest to Rockford is in Winnebago, at the Winnebago 4th of July Family Festival at dusk.
