‘This Is Us’ Star Says He Was Sexually Harassed in Chicago
Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin Pearson on NBC's 'This Is Us', was recently dining with friends at a restaurant in Chicago when an over-eager and over-aggressive fan ran over to the star and began kissing him.
Yes, Justin Hartley is hot, but in what world does someone think behavior like this will be well received by anyone, much less a celebrity?!?
Hartley recently explained the incident to Good Housekeeping, and said "I’m not afraid to say this, because I think she should be ashamed of herself".
This woman – who I don’t know, a stranger to me – recognized me and started screaming, going crazy.
I said, ‘You do not walk up to people that you do not know and put your mouth on their face. If I did that to you, I would be in prison. Please do not do that. And not that I’m trying to teach you life lessons, but I feel like this is a really good one for you. Don’t do that to anybody ever again.
So, did Hartley press charges? No, but he did refuse to take a picture with the woman after things calmed down and she returned asking for a photo. Hartley told Good Housekeeping;
I’m usually really good with photos, but I’m, like, ‘I’m not taking photos with you after you sexually harassed me. I’m good without a photo.’"
Good for you, Justin Hartley. That woman sounds like a real piece of work.
Not only did this woman, (who I can only assume was severely drunk), massively invade his personal space and feign embarrassment afterwards, return for a photo, but then she became very upset after he refused to take one. How upset? Enough to loudly exclaim that Justin Hartley "was an *&#$%$#!" upon leaving the restaurant.
Stay classy, lady.
