A group of photos just popped up on the internet showing what parking a car underneath Chicago's L tracks does to the body.

It's a pretty grisly sight to say the least. The car, which at one point must've been a Nissan Pathfinder, is said to have sat in the same spot for over 10 years.

That's also without having moved in the past ten years. A comment mentioned that the tires were also flat.

I have no idea why someone would abandon a car in one spot for that long, but I found the damage that was done to it, incredible.

One Reddit user referred to the mess on that poor car as "L track fallout" but the best was the came from 4entzix who said "Its Path-finding days are over."

Is that car salvageable? Is there a reason why people just abandon cars like this?
