Throwback Thursday: Kelly Clarkson’s American Idol Audition [VIDEO]

Ah, the first season of American Idol. We were all so excited and engrossed in this new form of reality TV. Don't you miss those days?

Ryan Seacrest was a no-name with 90s Timberlake highlights and Simon Cowell hadn't swapped his turtlenecks for t-shirts, but more importantly, we were about to meet Kelly Clarkson. She's my fave.

Watching this video made me wish I was back in high school, giving my full attention to the TV because we didn't have smartphones and I had to share computer time with my brother. I guess I only kind of wished that, but you know what I mean.

The best part of the clip is the very end, when Kelly addresses those Seacrest frosted tips.
