Tinder is done playing games. It's ready to find you an actual match.

What was once considered just a hook-up app, Tinder, is now trying to beef up it's ability to connect you with someone for more than just one night. If that's what you're looking for.

When Tinder arrived on our phones it was pretty much the only in-phone dating app, but now it has plenty of competition, and that competition does more than just show you photos. Other apps give you job history of potential matches, and easier ways to communicate.

Tinder was obviously taking notes. With their new version, 4.7.0, which is now available, you can see work and school information in your match's profile, along with an improved messaging system, that weeds out matches who never seem to send a message. Plus, Tinder is still standing by the (somewhat creepy) super like button. Once you click that intimidating blue star, the other person is immediately notified that you super like them.

Oh, and today is singles day in China. 11-11, which represents singles "1"s standing in a row. In America we celebrate singles day on 1-11. Can't wait...
