The search for Rockford's best pizza took me to a place that has family owned and operated for over 40 years.

Gulotta's, on 11th Street, nearly kiddie corner from Benson Stone is a small and unassuming pizza joint.

I've driven past it often without even noticing it was an actual pizza place.

Gulotta's doesn't serve lunch or dinner. You order takeout and go home.

I ordered pizza takeout from Gulotta's, sat in my car and ate it.
