The search for Rockford's best pizza continues with a trip to a place that serves up slices from a brick oven.

During my time in Rockford, I always considered Stone Eagle to be more about foods other than pizza, but when I found out they served up the stuff, I knew I needed to see what it was all about.

I tried the Margherita brick oven pizza from Stone Eagle, which features:

Chopped tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil leaves, and fresh mozzarella."
