‘Totes Amazeballs’ Added To Dictionary

I was under the impression that 'amazeballs' had a hyphen. Guess I was wrong.

"Totes Amazeballs" is just one of the weird words and phrases added to Britain's 13th Edition of the Chambers Dictionary.

I kinda love that. In case you were wondering, "totes amazeballs" pretty much means something is as totally awesome as possible.

The dictionary added 1,000 new words to their latest addition including:

• Cougar
• YOLO
• Sexting
• Whateves
• Hipster
• Boyf (this means boyfriend apparently)
• Bridezilla

"Dad Dancing," is also part of the list, along with some NSFW words, which you can find here.

The reason question is, does adding a word to a dictionary actually mean anything? Pretty sure we make up words and use them everyday whether or not they are "real."

I mean, "YOLO," right?
