Trick-or-Treat Times For The Rockford Area

Halloween is today. Be sure to know the trick-or-treat times for your area.

On Sunday, I got a text from my husband to let me know twe had a few trick-or-treaters come to our door. Obviously I was a little surprised considering it was SUNDAY! Apparently, it was our neighborhood's designated trick-or-treat day and we didn't get the memo.What happened to Halloween being the designated day to go door-to-door for tricks and treats?

Thankfully we had three pieces of Hershey's Candy Corn Minis that we could spare. Don't end up like me; be prepared those little ghosts and gobblins this Friday.

Here's a list of trick-or-treat times for the Rockford area:

Belvidere: 4 to 8 p.m.

Beloit: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Byron: 5 to 8 p.m.

Caledonia: 6 to 8 p.m.

Capron: 4 to 7 p.m., a parade to follow

Cherry Valley: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Durand: 5 to 8 p.m.

Freeport: 5 to 7 p.m.

Janesville: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Loves Park: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Machesney Park: 4 to 7 p.m.

Oregon: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
