True Life: I Went on a Date with the Guy From the Stanley Steemer Commercial

Who knew he'd be in a nationally syndicated commercial?

I've lived in a handful of different cities and one of them was L.A. I lived there for less than a year, from 2011 to 2012, and that's where I met the Stanley Steemer guy.

He was not the Stanley Steemer guy at the time, he was a friend of a friend I met at a Halloween party.

So we met at the end of October and fast forward to January when we finally went on a date, because people in L.A. are BUSY.

We went to Starbucks in North Hollywood where he bought me a sugar-free caramel light frappuccino... because that's what I drank when I lived in L.A. and we walked around the area for like an hour.

We never went out again, and I moved home to Illinois shortly after that. Then to my surprise a few months ago I had the TV on in the ZOK studios, and bam, there he is in a Stanley Steemer commercial!

When we went out he was working to be an actor, but so are a lot of people in L.A. However, it looks like he's doing well, so huge congratulations to him because all the way over here in Rockford, people totally know the Stanley Steemer Kyle commercial guy.
