Sky watchers, if you missed the supermoon that happened last weekend, no worries you'll get two more chances to see it in 2016.

Weather.com reports that the appearance of the super moon will appear on November 14th and then again on December 14th.

According to NASA (via Weather.com) "next month’s supermoon will be the true monster: the closest full moon to date in the 21st century. The full moon won’t come this close to Earth again until Nov. 25, 2034."

The Supermoon in December will be so large and glowing that it will wipe out the view of the Geminid meteor shower that's slated to be happening at that same time.

Cool... I was too busy watching the Cubs game to pay close enough attention to the moon. I'm pretty sure that's why my cat was acting goofy over the weekend.
