The odds of one these blue lobsters being caught are pretty slim. The odds of seeing it in person are now really good.

The blue lobster is a genetic mutation with only a 1 in 2,000,000 chance of happening, according to wgntv.com. One week ago, a fisherman named Wayne Nickerson caught the rarity off the coast of Massachusetts, and now it's at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

The yet to be named blue lobster is in a reserve enclosure while a large saltwater habitat is closed for renovation. For now he is part of the behind-the-scenes tour at the Shedd. To read more of his fascinating story, click HERE.
