Hate checking voicemail? If you're an iPhone user, you might not have to for much longer.

If you're anything like me, you hate voicemail; simply because you know that the person leaving a message is probably a bill collector or a telemarketer. Everyone you know, knows how you feel about talking on the phone so they shoot you a text, a Facebook message or they Snapchat you. Consequently, because you're ignoring all those calls, your voicemail box is completely full and the thought of having to go through them sounds too painful to bear. That's when you delete them all and question if you missed that emergency phone call about your sick Aunt Mildred.

All of that hassle could soon be a thing of the past, thanks to Apple's new service called iCloud Voicemail. The service will use Siri to transcribe incoming voicemails, and then send them to you as text messages. Siri will even be able to answer your calls for you and make excuses for why you can't pick up.

Unfortunately, for me, I don't have an iPhone so I won't be able to enjoy this wonderful feature, but this recent call from my Grandma proves that maybe voicemail isn't so bad after all.

iPhone users, will you be switching to iCloud Voicemail?
