Voters Pick ‘Dark’ Movie As Favorite Chicago Flick

Chicago's favorite Chicago based film isn't even referred to as Chicago in the movie.

Still with me? Good. Chicago's favorite movie is The Dark Knight. You know, the Heath Ledger Joker movie.

It was real good, but is it Chicago's favorite movie. Guess so, because it beat out competition from movies that actually refer to Chicago by it's real name instead of Gotham City.

The Dark Knight beat out The Blues Brothers, High Fidelity, and The Fugitive.

The Chicago Sun-Times says, "'The Dark Knight' earns a Jay Pritzker Pavilion screening at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, as the final presentation of the 2016 Millennium Park Summer Film Series. Admission is free."
