Walmart Apologizes for ‘Fat Girl Costumes’ Website Label

Oops, is definitely not a strong enough word to cover this mistake.

While browsing Halloween costumes over the weekend, you might've come across Walmart's website. The Party & Occasions section filtered into Halloween, which then lead to "Fat Girl Costumes."

Yep.

Someone, who is probably jobless right now, labeled the women's plus-sized costume section as the "fat girl costumes."

It really surprises me that something like this went live. It's an entire category, you'd think more than one set of eyes would need to look at it before someone actually published the website.

More surprisingly, it was live for two entire hours, leading to a slew of tweets, emails and complaints from website visitors.
