Imagine a day solely devoted to eating the most agreeable food on the planet.

That's what's happening this April in Chicago, and we need it to come to Rockford right now.

The food festival is called the Chicago Pizza Summit and it's an Old Style supported event.

Vendors from all over the city will have pizza on hand that you can try while downing some ice cold brews.

According to Timeout.com, "This year will feature the first Chicago Pizza Olympics and the return of the U.S. Pizza Museum, along with a few surprises not yet announced."

Entrance into the Chicago Pizza Summit is $35 and that comes complete with all-you-can-eat pizza and five beer tickets. The pizza and beer extravaganza is set for April 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Empty Bottle in Chicago.

"You'll also get a commemorative Old Style pizza-shaped plate to help you remember the event." says Timeout.com.
