If you've ever thought that "insert city here" has the best looking men or women, there's now proof to back up your claims.

The data comes from Clover, a dating app that is very similar to Tinder. Unlike Tinder, Tech Crunch referred to Clover as the dating equivalent of "ordering a burrito."

Mexican restaurant similarities aside, the team at Clover believes that "mutual attractiveness" is the basis for all successful relationships. That said, they created a scoring system to determine which cities and states have the most and least attractive men and women.

At the top of the attractive list, Jacksonville, Florida is tops for men. While Manhattan, New York is where the most beautiful women in the country live. Interestingly, women from Manhattan are 2x more attractive than the national average.

The most attractive states show Montana for the guys and Connecticut for women. There is some hope for the women though. Date shows that 5 of the top 8 states with the most attractive guys can be found in the heartland.

The least attractive guys on a whole are from Rhode Island, and Sunnyvale, California represents the city as ugliest. As far as women, the least good looking women can be found in Mississippi, (the data shows women who live there are 7 times less attractive than anywhere else) and Oklahoma City reps for least attractive city.

According to ABC News, "Clover did not disclose the specifics of its scoring system, it did reveal that its findings are based on the "quality of interest and interaction a user receives from other users compared to other users."
