This gives a whole new meaning to pigging out. A Florida town might have to cancel Halloween because of rampaging wild hogs. Really.

Let's go ahead and file this one under: "Only in Florida".  The poor kids in Brevard County may have to skip trick or treating this year because wild hogs have taken over their neighborhood. Some of the animals, which weigh as much as 350 pounds, have been seen digging up yards, pooping and walking down sidewalks.

But why are they there in the first place? Many of the residents believe the hogs are hunting for snacks, and come Halloween, they could go after little children and their candy. If these things weigh as much as 350 pounds, I'm not sure a bag of candy will be enough to satisfy them.

The association hasn't given up hope just yet. The plan, and I'm not so sure it's a good one, is to bring in a pack of dogs to scare them away. Hopefully it works because you can't cancel Halloween. If you cancel Halloween then the hogs win.
