Winnebago County Animal Services Now Offering Free Pet Adoptions
If your family needs to grow by one furry friend, Winnebago County Animal Services is where you need to visit. They are waiving adoption fees for all dogs and cats.
For three days at the end of September all families will be able to adopt any cat or dog for free. Winnebago County Animals Services' event will be held Thursday, September 27 - Saturday, September 29, with the hopes of finding homes for 100 animals, according to wrex.com.
Besides waiving the adoption fee,WCAS will include:
- Wellness exam
- Spay or neuter
- Microchip
- Vaccinations including a one year rabies shot, flea and tick preventative
