According to Find The Best, Winnebago County ranks second in Illinois, with over 40 UFO sightings per 100,000 people

Only tiny Schuyler County tops Winnebago in sightings. Schuyler reports almost 67 sightings per 100K.

According to the National UFO Reporting Index, the most recent report comes from Rockford. The website states a "Large extremely slow moving craft with red and white lights makes several low altitude passes over Rockford." This was reported on April 2.
