This woman has got to be one of the worst neighbors in the world.

Am I right? It's summertime and nothing says summer like the smell of bbq slathered anything coming off the grill. There hasn't been a single night this month where my husband and I have driven through our neighborhood and said, "oh my gosh, do you smell that? Someone must be grilling." But I digress. It turns out, not all people are like us and it turns out there are people in this world that hate the smell of BBQ. I bet they had  a horrible childhood.

Sue Godfirnon, of St. Petersburg, Florida, has filed 14 complaints against brothers Dwayne and Chris Matt, on the grounds that the smoke coming off their grill is poisoning her and making her a prisoner in her own home. She's now suing them for damages.

Barbequing is legal in their county but county ordinances prohibit air pollution, which is why an environmental inspector showed up to address the most recent complaint about smoke and odor coming from their barbeque. The brothers managed to get it on video.

What do you think? Does the neighbor have a case?

The Matts don't know their neighbor personally but they're hoping she'll let them cook for her some day.

Heck, if they were good enough cooks, they should make the trip up here for Brews and BBQ on September 5th. I'm pretty sure that all of us that attend can agree that grilling delicious food, swimming in BBQ sauce is anything BUT air pollution.

Have you gotten your tickets for Brews and BBQ yet? If not, click the link below and then we can all inhale the tasty smell of brisket, ribs and pulled pork together. Did I mention Bret Michaels is going to be there? I hope to see you.
