Not sure what this father was trying to prove by having his son break his video game system but it must mean something.

The kid in the video is apparently failing at school so his dad decided his son's school failures need to be blamed squarely on video games.

Not sure if that's the right way to do things.

I have a nine-year-old son who enjoys playing video games. However, he's not allowed to play during the school week. He's also not allowed to play during the weekend if he doesn't keep his grades up.

That plan works for us. I understand that every family is different but having your son destroy something he likes while you get it all on video is a one way ticket to resentment city.

By the way, resentment city is not a real place, but I could see that as video game title. It's also a video game that the kid in the video will never have a chance to play.
