You might like spicy, but can you handle this level of spice?

I LOVE cheese. But I HATE spicy things. I can handle the tiniest bit of heat, but I am never one to order something spicy. I have tried my fair share of spicy cheeses. From your basic pepper jack to those that have notes of jalapeno, a little spice can really make a cheese extra yummy.

Then there's this type of cheese in Wisconsin.

The "Carolina Reaper Cheddar Angel de la Muerte"

Honestly, sounds pretty intimidating. If you've never heard of Carolina Reaper Peppers, they are SERIOUSLY hot.

The Wisconsin Cheese shop's website even says -

Angel de la Muerte is the spiciest cheese we carry! Carolina Reaper peppers, with over 1.6 million Scoville Heat Units, are the spiciest peppers in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records' 2013 assessment. Angel de la Muerte will take your taste buds on a ride and punch you in the face with brilliant flavor.

They recommend pairing the cheese with something to ease the spice level. They also share a fun fact that "Capsaicin" is the chemical responsible for the spicy sensation within a pepper. If you're into spice but don't think you can handle THAT level of spice, here's some other spicy options they have.
