Wrigley Field Upping Security for Home Opener

Here comes the downfall of your team winning the World Series Championship after 108 years; a day at Wrigley Field will now require more money and a lot more patience.

If you're heading to Wrigley Field on Monday for the Cubs' home opener, expect more headaches dealing with the parking and traffic around the ball park. The City of Chicago has already announced that parking prices are doubling around Wrigley Field, but now traffic restrictions will be in place as well starting Monday. WGN reports;

No trucks will be allowed near the ballpark, and car traffic will be slowed to a trickle. The traffic restrictions will start two hours before the game, and end an hour after the game.

WGN says the effectiveness of these new traffic restrictions will be reviewed after three games, but  how much are you willing to bet that they stick for the entire season?
