Young Cancer Survivor Shows Cubs Pride with His Prosthetic Eye
It's one thing to say that the Cubs can beat some of the best baseball teams in the major leagues, but it's another to say that you beat cancer at just 7-years-old.
Here's hoping that Beckham stays happy, healthy and resilient. To go through such an ordeal at his age and to come out on top with a smile on his face says a lot about the strength of our children; often times we find them more inspiring to us than we are to them.
Stay awesome, Beckham; hopefully you'll get to experience even more Cubs games, and while I know it's now second on your Make-A-Wish list, I heard Disneyworld is pretty cool, too.
