Young Cubs Fan and Cancer Survivor up for MLB Fan of the Year

Earlier this year we met about a young Cubs fan with a prosthetic Cubs eye, and now he might be the MLB fan of the year. 

I have to be honest, I had no idea there was a fan of the year contest within the MLB, but I think it's very cool that Beckham Zobrist is one of the candidates.

Beckham is a very big Cubs fan and a cancer survivor who lost his eye at a young age. Being such a big fan, when he asked his mom for a prosthetic eye, he wanted it to be a tribute to his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.

Beckham is one of the four Cubs fans up for the MLB fan of the year award, according to WGN, which is pretty awesome!
