Need some extra cash this holiday season? You can sell your American Girl Dolls hanging out in your closet.

They're just collecting dust in there right? Mine definitely are.

I have a Samantha doll from around 1995 and a Felicity doll from a few years after that. I have no idea why I have a Felicity, I think I was going through the "I want to be a redhead" phase, that I have since grown out of, mostly.

Though I loved looking at Samantha and pretending she actually was made to look like me, I don't think I'd have a problem exchanging her for a bunch of money.

Does that make me a bad doll owner? Meh, I'll survive.

There are Samantha dolls on eBay going for $2,000. That is a lot of money. A LOT.

My Felicity would probably only get about $500, but I don't actually play with these dolls... I have a feeling I would play with $500.
