Your Favorite Sugary Candy is Getting a ‘Hot’ Makeover This Winter

I'm all for sweet and salty, but I'm not sure I'm ready for this.

For years, Skittles has had us tasting the rainbow.

Red, purple, green, yellow, all of the fruity flavors in one bag.

Some of us (me) think the flavors are very different, others (Sweet Lenny) think that they're all the same just different colors... but that argument is for a different day.

Today, we are looking at the new spicy Skittles, called 'Sweet Heat Skittles,' that will be heading to stores just in time for Christmas.

Why? Why are you doing this Skittles? Do you really think we want our Skittles flaming? These aren't Cheetos.

Plus, aren't most of the Skittle eaters out there under 12 years old... do they want heat in their candy?

The candy is making its debut at the Sweets & Snacks Expo going on right now in Chicago, but won't be available to purchase until December.

Skittles isn't flying solo on this hot candy endavor, Starbust is coming along for the ride, too, with 'Fiery Watermelon, Strawberry Mango, Flamin' Orange, and Pipin' Pineapple.'
