Anthony Rizzo made a special trip to visit children on the Oncology Floor today.

He traveled to Peoria's OSF HealthCare center and took pictures with families too.

Rizzo was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2007. He then began six months of chemotherapy to treat his cancer.

Fast forward 10 years, Rizzo has only two things on his mind "Charity and championships" per the Chicago Tribune.

Between frequent hospital visits to see children and families battling cancer, Rizzo is also the founder of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation.

The mission statement of the foundation reads:

The Mission of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is to raise money for cancer research and to provide support to children and their families battling the disease."

In case you're wondering, Rizzo and the rest of the Chicago Cubs are off today, before heading out to San Francisco for a three-game set against the Giants.

This is what Rizzo does on his off day. Any and all Cubs fans should be proud he represents the team and city the way he does.
