Chicago's largest no-kill animal shelter is full and they are looking for adoptive families for all their cats and dogs.

The Chicago Tribune is saying PAWS Chicago, "has reached capacity, and the organization needs adopters and foster parents to come forward."

That's why they are waiving adoption fees this weekend on dogs and cats that have been at the shelter the longest.

The post mentions that PAWS can hold up to 200 dogs and cats, so if they are full like they say, that place is packed.

This is a perfect time to pick up a dog and cat and it's only a quick drive from Rockford.

Most of the dogs and cats that end up at PAWS come in from Chicago Animal Care and Control.

The adoption extravaganza will happen this Saturday & Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1997 North Clybourn Avenue.

The dogs and cats that will have the waived adoption fee tag are listed as "Summer Lovin'" on the PAWS website.
