Ogle County’s First & Only Craft Brewpub Just Opened In Byron

The wait is over, Ogle County's first brewpub has officially opened its doors.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Hairy Cow Brewing Company announced on Facebook "we are open for business."

Located at 450 E. Blackhawk Dr in Byron, Hairy Cow is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11:00 a.m. to Midnight and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Hairy Cow touts more than just world class beer.

The Hairy Cow Brewing Company Facebook story says they also have "signature mixed drinks and gourmet brick oven pizza."

Reviews have been positive thus far, calling Hairy Cow "family friendly" with "very good beer and food."

While it's fair to guess yesterday was the soft opening for the brewery, a grand opening has yet to be announced.
