It might be worth the drive when you realize you've exhausted all the possibilities for summer fun.

You've been everywhere imaginable this summer, right? Looking for something a little bit off the beaten path?

This roadside attraction is something you never thought you'd see really anywhere in the country much less Wisconsin.

A two-hour drive from Rockford and nestled in Freedom, about 45 minutes northwest of Madison, sits Dr. Evermor's Sculpture Park.

I found it yesterday just messing around on MSN's "Roadside tourist attractions around the US that are actually worth the detour."

Throughout the garden, industrial scrap metal is twisted and turned into birds, dragons, tubes, and other figures for a truly eccentric experience.

Dr. Evermor's is also home to the "World's Largest Scrap Metal Sculpture."

All of the strange sculptures at Dr. Evermor's lead to one Instagrammable day trip.

Dr. Evermor's Sculpture Park is located at S7703 US Highway 12 and is open Thursday through Monday most days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you would like to schedule a tour of the park please call 608.219.7830.
