Bath + Body Fusion Store Closing in Rockford

A local business has announced they're closing their Rockford location after 12 years of serving the Rockford community.

If you've never made stop into the shop, Bath + Body Fusion is located in downtown Rockford between Jimmy John's and Rockford Art Deli.

Known for their Dream Cream, Bath + Body Fusion announced on Facebook the decision has been weighing on them for some time.

This comes a little over a year after opening a new location in Beloit.

Here's what the owner said on Facebook:

With heavy hearts, we want to share that our Rockford Bath and Body Fusion store will be closing. This decision did not happen overnight and has weighed on us for some time. Being in the community for the past 12 years, we have committed ourselves to shining a light on downtown Rockford and showing love to everyone that has walked through our door.

To those of you who have shopped with us, we want you to know that we love & adore you. You have helped carry us through the highs and lows of being a small business. Many of you have become such dear friends to us, feeling like family when you stop in. We cannot thank you enough for supporting us, it truly means more than you may ever know.
That said, we hope you continue to shop with us online and in store at our Beloit location. This is going to be a big step for us, and we would not want to make it without all of you.
We would like to thank Executive Director of the Rockford City Market Cathy Mcdermott for all her help, and Fridh Corporation for giving us our start downtown.
