Beyonce’s Publicist Asks Fans to Stop ‘Spewing Hate’ Following Viral Courtside Shade Moment
Beyonce's publicist called out fans for "spewing hate" after that viral NBA video.
In case you missed it, the drama started when a video was posted online that sees the singer and Jay-Z sitting courtside at the NBA Finals on Wednesday (June 5). The footage shows a woman leaning over Bey to talk to Jay.
In the clip, Beyonce seemingly gives the woman, who we later found out is Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors’ owner Joe Lacob, what fans referred to as a "death look." In fact, some are even sure the 37-year-old purposefully gave her a little nudge at the end of their conversation.

It didn't take long for the shady moment to explode on social media and for Curran to feel the wrath of Beyonce's loyal Beyhive, who flooded almost every single photo on her Instagram account with bee emojis. Unfortunately, the backlash didn't end there because she also allegedly received death threats.
Though Beyonce has yet to comment on the moment, her publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, seemingly referred to the drama on Instagram by posting a photo of Bey and Jay on the one-year anniversary of their On The Run II Tour.
"I am looking back today at the start of the OTRII tour, one year ago," she wrote. "It was a place of joy, unimaginable entertainment from two of the best performers in the world, and a place of love."
"Every single day on that tour I saw love," Noel-Schure added.
She went on to speak directly to Beyonce's Beyhive, writing, "I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name. We love you."
The "Formation" hitmaker's publicist isn't the only person to speak out since Curran also tried to reason with the Beyhive and explain that the moment was taken out of context.
"Listen Beyhive. I respect Queen B. I love her! I talked to her husband twice tonight," Curran explained, according to a screenshot taken by The Shade Room. "First, to take a drink order for them both when they arrived as they were our guests. Second, to explain why I gave his wife a rose from a fan."
"All of this has been taken out of context," she continued. "I am a happily married woman. Telling me to kill myself?????? Somehow I don't think she would support this."
